FormBuilder Template Migration in Progress

Peter Karman -

Hi,

We’re in the process of migrating individual FormBuilder templates to the Source 1.0 (english and spanish) template.

Why are we doing this?
Consolidating the templates will set the stage for adding and improving functionality (e.g. leveraging Facebook Open Graph tags) and providing better usability (e.g. using responsive design so queries look good on mobile devices, tablets, etc.) across all PIN forms. It will allow us to make updates much quicker, instead of having to individually update 60+ templates.

What do you need to do?
Going forward, you should use either the Source 1.0 or Blank FormBuilder templates for new queries. We will be removing all other templates. Past forms (that are not using the Blank template) will be converted to use the Source 1.0 template. The Source 1.0 template will still display your logo (pulled from your FormBuilder project info).

When will the migration be completed?
Hopefully in the next day or two. Your APM PIN contact will send you a note when the conversion is complete and can field any questions or concerns you may have.

Thanks,
Drew

PS -- As promised last month, we are also updating EmailLabs (Lyris) templates.  Look for a note about that update next week.

    Hi-

Thanks for the head's up. Is there any training needed for the instructions under "What you need to do?"

Hi Lee - no training should be necessary. Going forward, you'll just want to select the "Source 1.0" template when constructing queries. Everything else should work as usual.

Where's the actual template so I can see what it looks like? Or is it the same as the current Source 1.0 template?
