Sharing Queries on Facebook

  1. Include an image with your query
We've added a "Facebook Image URL" field, so  you can control what image shows up when you share a query on Facebook. Make sure you include the full URL for the image you want to use (e.g. http://www.publicinsightnetwork.org/sites/all/themes/ninesixty/images/pin-logo-white.png). If you have an image on your computer, but not a URL, you can use a service like http://imgur.com/ or http://droplr.com/ to generate a URL. If you don't enter a URL, we'll default to the image associated with your organization in AIR (i.e. your organization's logo).

NOTE: The image must be at least 50px by 50px and have a maximum aspect ratio of 3:1. Facebook supports PNG, JPEG and GIF formats. If you've changed the image, but an old image is still showing up, try running Facebook's debugger which should rebuild their cache.

Now let's see the Facebook recommend in action:

1.  The source recommends your query.

2. The source then adds her comment and posts to Facebook.

3.  Your new Facebook-specific image is now displayed.
